Medical Services
Attendant Care / In-Home Assessment
An Attendant Care Needs Assessment is an assessment of a client’s personal / self care needs. Its goal is to determine the need for specialized care to facilitate safety and independence in the client’s home environment.
Our assessors evaluate the clients in various areas of activities of daily living such as dressing, grooming, hair care, meal preparation, and mobility etc.
Psychological Assessment
After a motor vehicle accident, many individuals experience a significant increase in stressors, which include accident-related pain, accident related limitations to indepedently carry out previously enjoyed activities as well as job loss resulting in financial difficulties. As a result, the individuals may experience depression, general anxiety or anxiety related to driving.
The psychologist can assist in identifying the nature and severity of an individual’s accident-related difficulties and recommend appropriate treatment to treat any resulting psychological issues.
Functional Ability Evaluation (FAE)
An assessment that utilizes scientific principles and measurements to analyze the abilities of individuals relevant to their pre-injury level of function. Results are then used to aid in direction of clinical treatment, return to activities of daily living, return to work, and work conditioning programs.
Job Site Analysis
This assessment is conducted to determine the physical demands of the clients’ pre accident employment and to complare the clients’ current functional abilities with the job demands, and to discuss modified work options.
Chronic Pain / Orthopedic Assessment
Assessment with Specialitists such as Chronic Pain Specialist, Neurologist and Orthopedic Surgeon, etc. can help provide valuable data in relation to their respective specialities. The specialists can recommend treatment to manage the pain or other symptoms.
Attendant Care Services
We can arrange for Attendant Care services with certified Personal Support Workers to ensure that our clients have the needed assistance in their home environment.
